Dr. Peng Wang, p.wang@mmu.ac.uk, Manchester Metropolitan University – Assistant Professor in AI and Robotics. He received his PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2015 and has since worked in France and the UK on projects spanning robotics, autonomy, and AI. He currently leads the Collaborative Robot Learning Lab (CoRoL) at Manchester Metropolitan University. His research focuses on robotic learning, generative models for robotics, and human-robot collaboration. His paper won the best student award at MFI in 2021. He has organised workshops and chaired sessions at IROS, IJCNN, and UKCI. He has published in RA-L, IROS, RSS, and other top venues on SLAM, robotic manipulation, diffusion models, and foundational models for robot learning.
